Day 8: A useful lesson via social media

Day 8: A useful lesson via social media

Have you learned anything useful via social media lately?

I find myself doing far too much doomscrolling, so when I discover something wonderful, I save it immediately.

The most recent lesson I learned that I loved—a techie and creative tip— was from Austin Kleon, who I think is awesome.

You can find it here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CcQqTRZpTPZ/

But essentially it’s how to use an iPhone camera to copy and highlight text from a book. Because, as Austin says, there’s a special place in hell for people who write in library books (and books that don’t belong to them) if we want to underline it but cant, and we don’t have time to copy it out by hand, what do we do?

Ta da!

Your turn: what’s the most useful thing you’ve learned on social media recently?

Happy writing!

TTFN,

Vicky
