Have you ever been to an outdoor theatre production?
They’re so much fun—a totally different vibe to being in a theatre, and the environment seems to invite more ad-libbing and off-the-cuffness.
Of course, sometimes outdoor theatre isn’t a production, per se… it’s the scene someone’s making in the street. Or the loud argument the neighbours are having in their garden. Or the misbehaving doggo that’s stealing people’s picnics.
All of which are fabulous for picking up story ideas.
Set a timer for 5 minutes and write about outdoor theatre—whatever it makes you think of…
Then make a plan to spend the evening writing with us at Write Night, which you can book right here! Hurrah!
Happy writing!

Vicky
