Hear from these MicroBook magicians…

Here’s who you’ll be getting to know — and the books they’ll be reading from:

Laura Chamberlain: Resilience

Laura Chamberlain is an award-winning Professor of Marketing at The University of Warwick. She’s also a marketer, a career strategist, and coach. Laura is the founder of Think Talk Thrive, a professional development and career strategy agency.

Helping people to learn, spark ambition, and nurture growth, is central to everything Laura does. With 20 years experience and backed by research, Laura takes a practical approach to transforming professional development. Laura deftly bridges academia and industry, working with businesses and individuals, giving keynotes, and writing a column for Marketing Week.

She has written a little book about resilience.

Janine Coombes: The Easy Yes

Janine Coombes is a marketing coach and an offer positioning expert for coach-shaped-people.

She’s worked with big brands like EE, Orange and Europcar. She has a business degree, a post-graduate marketing diploma (CIM Dip) and regularly speaks on stages like Atomicon, You Are The Media and MarketEd.Live.

Janine has written The Easy Yes about what really drives buyers to say “yes please”.

Erin Flaxman: Resting Pitch Face

Erin Flaxman is a global agency veteran with 25 years of experience pitching and partnering with the world’s most iconic brands. She specializes in crafting go-to-market strategies for agencies and small businesses — whether launching their brand, building their reputation, or growing their client base.

Her MicroBook, Resting Pitch Face is about how to pitch well without losing your mind.

Joe McKay: What Would You Do If You Weren’t Scared?

Joe McKay is a business coach helping solopreneurs grow a business they love.

His book What Would You Do If You Weren’t Scared? is all about what might happen if you weren’t scared…

Tricia Nichols: Wellness Branding for Corporations

Tricia Nichols is a visionary C-Suite executive and rising wellness thought leader, blending a robust career in marketing with a passion for redefining modern well-being to inspire brands and consumers alike. Her portfolio includes iconic brands Gap, Estée Lauder, PepsiCo, and Under Armour, as well as emerging market leaders like Independent Pet Partners.  Known for driving consumer-centric innovative strategies, her career has earned her accolades such as The Lead and FORBES’ “Defiant 25” and Brand Innovators’ Women to Watch.

She recently founded Wellbent Co, a consultancy dedicated to positioning wellness-inspired brands for growth. When not advising and brand building, Tricia stays busy as an angel investor, board advisor, and occasional adjunct professor.

Her book is a fascinating look at wellness branding for corporations.

Laura Otto: ADHDers & Decluttering

Laura Otto is an artist, gardener and permaculture designer, devoted mom, wife, daughter, friend, writer of words, and wearer of hats. Many hats.

She’s written a brilliant book for ADHDers (like me) who want to declutter.

Misty Santos: How to be a thick-skinned saleswoman

Misty Santos is a sales and marketing consultant and systems genius.

How to be a thick-skinned saleswoman is Misty’s second book and one which I definitely need.

See you there!

P.S. If any of these authors have inspired you to write your own MicroBook, season 7 of MicroBook Magic kicks off on March, 3, 2025. Will your name be on this page next year?
