You know you want to write a book.
You’ve read the articles. Maybe you’ve bought the courses. You’ve tried to follow the templates. You’ve started and stopped. You’ve outlined and abandoned. You’ve written chapters you hated and deleted them.
And through all of it, you’ve been trying to do it alone.
Here’s what happens when you try to write a book by yourself:
❌ You spend weeks “planning” and “researching” instead of writing
❌ You write for a while, lose momentum, and stop
❌ You have no idea if what you’re writing is working
❌ You get stuck on structure and can’t figure out how to fix it
❌ You second-guess everything and rewrite the same sections 3,293 times
❌ You give up because it’s too hard and you feel like you don’t know what you’re doing
❌ Your brilliant book never gets written, and that’s unacceptable
Writing a book alone is HARD. Writing a book with expert support, accountability, and guidance is… still hard, let’s be honest – but actually doable and enjoyable.
✓ Someone who can see what your book needs (when you’re too close to see it yourself)
✓ Regular accountability so you do the work instead of putting it off
✓ Structural editing as you write, catching issues early instead of fixing a mess later
✓ Honest feedback from someone who knows what makes a good book
✓ Help developing YOUR voice instead of copying someone else’s template
✓ Support when you hit the inevitable “this is rubbish and I should quit” moment (spoiler: it’s not rubbish and you shouldn’t quit)
✓ Guidance on all the things you don’t yet know (structure, publishing, design, marketing)
✓ Someone who understands the beauty of your ideas and won’t let you give up
That’s exactly what the Book Breakthrough Lab coaching programme gives you.
The first two calls solidify your foundation:
I set up your private Google Drive folder where all our calls, notes, and your manuscript will live.
You start writing with absolute clarity on what you’re doing.
Every 2 weeks we have a 60-90 minute Zoom call where we:
Each call is recorded and uploaded to your private Google Drive. Watch them back whenever you need a reminder or confidence boost.
After each call, I send you:
Between calls, you have:
As we work together, we cover:
Most clients reach at least copyediting stage – meaning your manuscript is structurally sound, well-written, and ready for a final polish.
Some clients get to fully publication-ready (depends on how much time you can commit – we aim for about 10 hours per week of writing time).
You’ll have:
✅ 12 weekly Zoom calls (90 minutes each): intensive coaching sessions to solve problems and keep you moving forward
✅ All calls recorded: download them to your Google Drive and keep them forever
✅ Detailed book outline: created early in our work together so you always know what you’re writing
✅ Written + video notes after every call: your homework, key points, and action steps
✅ Telegram support between calls: 4-hour response time during office hours for questions, encouragement, and quick feedback
✅ Manuscript reviews and critiques: I read your work as you write it and give you detailed structural feedback
✅ Private Google Drive folder: where all our work lives (calls, notes, your manuscript, resources)
✅ Reader Journey deep-dive: proper psychological understanding of who you’re writing for and what they need
✅ Writing skills training: developing your authentic voice, storytelling techniques, making your writing compelling
✅ Complete book structure guidance: from opening to closing, how to make every chapter work
✅ Publishing strategy: traditional vs independent, what’s best for your goals and circumstances
✅ Book design guidance: covers, blurbs, author bios, making your book look professional
✅ Accountability and cheerleading: I keep you on track and celebrate your wins
✅ Expert structural editing: catching issues as you write instead of fixing a mess later
Encouragement and accountability are great, but it’s not enough.
You also need someone who can:
That’s what you get with this programme.
I’m not just cheerleading from the sidelines. I’m in the trenches with you, reading your work, editing your structure, solving problems, and making sure you actually finish this book.
“She made my book a good book – but more than that, she gave me the confidence to feel good about my book. She held my hand every step of the way. She validated my ideas, and saw through my fears and concerns to give me the insights, advice and kicks up the bum I needed.” —Kenda Macdonald, Automation Ninjas
“It’s very reassuring to have someone tell you, ‘You can do this’ when everyone else is saying, ‘You can’t do that, you can’t write a book.’ She took the fear out of it, and broke the whole thing down into steps rather than a great big thing.” —Meera Jethwa
“The live calls for me were game changing. It’s Vicky’s zone of genius. Watching her hot-seat, unpacking, and elevating people’s books is her actual Ninja skill. What she did for mine was amazing but watching her do it for others enabled me to write better.” —Yinka Ewuola
If you can commit approximately 10 hours per week to writing (that’s 120 hours total over 3 months), you can get a solid first draft done with structural polish.
That’s:
Three months is:
You get 12 weekly calls plus 3 months of Telegram support and manuscript reviews.
You’ll also get bonus access to my Creative Playground twice-daily writing sessions.
That’s intensive, hands-on support throughout your entire writing journey.
This includes:
Think about the value:
£7,500 for three months of intensive 1-1 coaching, structural editing, and support to write and finish your book.
That’s less than £100 per day for expert guidance.
A developmental edit alone (just one round of feedback on a finished manuscript) costs £3,000 – £6,000.
You’re getting ongoing structural editing PLUS coaching PLUS accountability PLUS publishing guidance for a similar investment.
And you’re getting a finished book that could:
What’s that worth to you?
Fill in the application form below. Tell me:
I’ll review your application within 2 business days and email you.
We’ll have a brief 20-30 minute call to:
If we agree to work together:
Before our first call:
First call happens, your Google Drive is set up, and we’re off.
For the next 3 months, we work together intensively to get your book written and ready for polish.
By the end of our 3 months, you have a manuscript that’s ready for final editing and publication.
You’re so close to being a bloody author.
When can we start? I work with only 4 Book Breakthrough Lab clients at a time to maintain quality. Once you’re accepted, we typically start within 2-4 weeks.
What if I can’t commit 10 hours per week? We can still work together, but you might not reach the editing stage in 3 months. We’ll set realistic goals based on your actual available time.
Can I extend beyond 3 months if needed? Yes, we can extend on a month-by-month basis at the monthly rate (£2,500/month) if you need more time.
What if I get stuck or have a crisis mid-programme? That’s what the Telegram support is for. You’re not on your own between calls, you have me in your pocket for questions, encouragement, and problem-solving. If need be, we can dedicate a full session to the crisis or specific challenge. I will not let that crisis derail you.
Will you tell me if my writing is terrible? I’ll tell you honestly if something isn’t working, but I’ll also show you specifically how to fix it. The goal isn’t to make you feel bad, it’s to make your book good. Everyone I’ve worked with is a much better writer than they think they are. And the important part is the ideas; we can always work on technique.
Do you work with first-time authors? Yes. Most of my clients are first-time authors. That’s my specialty.
What genres do you work with? Nonfiction only: business books, memoirs, self-help, personal development, how-to, thought leadership. I don’t work with fiction.
What if I want to traditionally publish vs self-publish? I’ll guide you through both options and help you decide which is best for your goals. The book we create works for either path.
Are there refunds? No refunds once we’ve started due to the bespoke nature of the work. But I guarantee you’ll make significant progress on your book if you do the work. If something isn’t working, we’ll do our best to make it work — and if that doesn’t work, you can give me notice and we’ll cut the programme short. No hard feelings.
What happens at the end of 3 months? You have a manuscript ready for editing and a publication plan. You can then work with a copyeditor, get your cover designed, and publish. Or, if you need continued support, you can extend month-by-month.
You’ve been thinking about this long enough.
Apply now, and in 3 months you could be holding your finished first draft, ready for polishing.
Stop waiting. Start writing.
If you want to test the waters first, book a Book Breakthrough: Unlocked session – 90 minutes to get crystal clear on your idea.
If you want intensive help but can’t commit to 3 months, try a VIP Book Breakthrough Day – 7 hours to make massive progress and get unstuck.
The book you’re meant to write won’t write itself.
The readers who need what you have to say are waiting.
The opportunities that come from being a published author are real.
Stop putting it off.
