Well you’re fabulous! I hope we’re going to be good writing buddies.
You’ll receive my newsletter, Notes in the Margin, every weekday. My mission is to help you write like you mean it — to use your voice to create an impact in the world, whether that’s to make more money, to change hearts and minds, or simply for the joy of creating something.
There are THREE ways I can help you now:
1. Try out the Creative Playground for £1.20
The best way to write consistently and develop as a writer is to do it in community — and I’d love to invite you into the Creative Playground. I only allow 50 members at a time, so it’s small enough to build intimate relationships but large enough to get a real diversity of support, feedback (if you want it), and encouragement.
It’s £50 per month (+ VAT) but you can try it out for just £1 for a full week to see if it’s for you.
2. Check out the podcast
For 344 episodes, me and Joe (my superstar husband) talked about writing, creativity, publishing, books, and business — and I interviewed dozens of creative heroes including:
- Sean D’Souza
- Hillary Weiss Presswood
- Laura Belgray
- Joanna Penn
- Mike Ganino
- Kim Krause Schwalm
- Sharon Hurley-Hall
- Jocelyn Brady
And many more.
I’ve curated them into collections, or you can dip in and out whenever and whereever you like.
3. Read my books
As well as helping authors write and publish 58 books (and counting), I’ve written five books of my own.
Two of them might be of particular interest to you now.
Don’t Eat the Frog is my reaction to blanket writing/productivity advice that many people — especially folks like me with ADHD — find aggressively unhelpful. It’s a MicroBook, so it’s short and sweet, and you can dip in and out of it.
How the hell do you write a book does exactly what the title suggests. If you’re thinking of writing a book, and that’s why you’re here, this is a great place to start. It takes you right from “I have an idea for a book but AARGH how do I even do that” all the way through to publishing it.
I’m proud of both these books. You can find them below.
If you’re serious about writing like you mean it, and using your voice to be the best writer you can be, I’m here to help. See you in your inbox, every weekday!
TTFN,
Vicky
