Yes it’s Valentine’s Day today but it’s also International Book Giving Day today!
The aim is to get books into the hands of as many children around the world as possible. Which is also Queen Dolly Parton’s aim.
(She’s incredible in so many ways, not least because of her Imagination Library, which provides free books for children all over the world from age 0—5.)
You could write about Valentine’s Day today; maybe that’s your vibe. Maybe you’re loved up, maybe you hate today…
Or, you could write about a book someone gave you as a child, which made an impression on you. Then maybe you could go and give a book to a random child in the street.
How cool would that be?
