Day 19 World Photography Day

Day 19 World Photography Day

I have a love-hate relationship with photographs.

Because my memory is so appalling, I take a lot of photos.

This drives Joe around the bend, because he’ll be striding on ahead, and I’ll be on the floor taking a photograph of a beetle. Or a cloud that looks like an emu.

I like to capture moments on film and in my notebook because I know I will not remember them later.

Like, I remember very little of our wedding day, which makes me sad. But we have plenty of photos, so I can trigger memories with those.

I make a photobook for each year, choosing the pics that illustrate moments, because I like to look back at what we’ve done over a year.

And I hate 95% of photographs with me in them.

So ya.

How about you? On this World Photography Day, what would you like to write about?

Set a timer for 5 minutes and go go go!

Happy writing!

Vicky
