I am surrounded by the decaying corpses of hobbies I have gotten excited about, started, and then abandoned.
My hard drive is littered with the bones of books I began to write, but did not finish.
This is how my AuDHD brain works.
That doesnât mean I donât also create AND FINISH wonderful projects⊠but I am definitely more of a starter than a finisher.
And so are many of my clients. We flock together, they find me because my experiences seem similar to theirs, and then I help them FINISH THEIR DAMN BOOKS.
The most recent MicroBook to swoop into the world is The Easy YES by Janine Coombes and I am SO excited to present it to you here today wooooooo!

Hereâs a little case study I made.
Client: Janine Coombes, the coachesâ coach, funny human, kind bright colourful superstar
Book: The Easy YES
Audience: Coaches who want to make more sales, more easily, without using sleazy tactics
Programme: MicroBook Magic with Vicky Quinn Fraser
The challenge
Janine is a coach who helps âcoach-shaped people earn more without slogging their guts out.â Sheâs developed a practical, powerful tool to help her clients focus their marketing efforts more effectively and she knew it needed to be shared. But the idea of writing a big, traditional business book didnât appeal.
âI wanted to get in there, write the book, include some really good examples, make sure I delivered all the information â but not drag it out.â
As a self-confessed starter-not-finisher, Janine knew that getting the book over the line would be the hardest part. She needed structure, support, and accountability.
Hereâs Janine in her own words:
Why MicroBook Magic?
Janine had known Vicky for a few years and had been following her work.
âI love her MicroBook Magic concept. When she talked about writing a shorter book that packed a punch, I knew sheâd break it down into really easy steps â and Iâd just get it done.â
While Janine hadnât been actively looking for a book-writing course, the combination of Vickyâs approach, structure, and support made it a clear yes. She viewed the investment as not just in learning, but in ensuring the book actually got finished.
âI was paying for Vickyâs expertise, the container, the tutorials â but also the accountability.â
The experience
âWorking with Vicky was great. She really knows what sheâs on about.â
Janine loved the way the programme was structured: digestible, bite-sized weekly lessons with templates, support, and encouragement.
âShe talks about âlittle baby beetle stepsâ and she really does break everything down. There was lots of cheerleading, lots of focus on the positives, and so many helpful templates. I also loved being among the other authors, it really helped to know you werenât alone.â
Importantly, Vicky offered flexibility and choice, which made the programme feel human and adaptable.
âShe gives you options. Itâs not âmy way or the highway.â She really understands that humans are all different and work in different ways.â
Favourite feature of MBM
âThe fact that itâs a MicroBook! I love starting projects but struggle to finish them â so this felt do-able from the beginning.â
Janine also valued the VIP option, which included proofreading and typesetting support.
âI knew I wouldnât get that sorted out myself. That took a weight off my mind.â
Top 3 things Janine loved about MBM
- âCommitting to this and having people hold me to it â not just the coach, but the whole group â kept me going.â
- âVicky gave tons of feedback on structure and flow, plus helpful suggestions like title ideas. She added value in so many ways.â
- âMeeting other authors going through the same process was really encouraging. You realise youâre not alone.â
Recommended?
âAbsolutely. I love the idea of writing something punchy with no waffle. Itâs appealing to readers and writers. Get your genius down on the page as quickly as possible.â
âVicky is a fantastic coach â adaptable, understanding, and encouraging. Everything youâd want in a book coach.â
Well, Janine was a dream client and Iâm SO excited her book The Easy YES is out in the world.
