Day 22: What can you cook really well?

Day 22: What can you cook really well?

I’m tempted to answer this one with NOTHING because I am a terrible cook.

My brain bees mean that I burn most stuff, ruin pans, and get terribly overwhelmed with recipes because there are just too many things to do.

Then I get bored and/or distracted, go to do this other thing “just for 2 minutes” and come back 20 minutes later to a half-cooked, burned mess.

But here’s a thing I am GREAT at doing:

poached eggs.

You can’t leave them alone you see. No time. And the time to leave them is the perfect amount of time to toast and butter the bread. And mash the avocado if I’m being super middle-class about it.

Another thing I am great at:

raw mushroom sandwiches.

Yes I KNOW, it sounds gross and weird, everyone tells me that. But I love them.

What’s your go-to meal when you want to impress someone?

Set a timer and write!

Happy writing!

TTFN,

Vicky
