It’s true: today is Sock Monkey Day and it’s time for a confession.
I have never made a sock puppet.
Ever.
Have you?
Perhaps today is the day when you take one of your old odd socks—we’ve all got odd socks lurking in holes, right?—and turn it into a sock puppet. All you need is some googly eyes and a needle and thread to make a mouth. And possibly a wig for hair.
In fact, just watch RuPaul’s Drag Race for their sock puppet skit; it’s always hilarious.
